A tour of the M.A. Aitkhozhin Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry.
On May 26, 2024, as part of the SDG 17 "Partnership for sustainable development" a tour of the laboratories of the M.A. Aitkhozhin Institute of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry was organized for second-year students majoring in "6B05103 - Biotechnology," "6B05103 - Biological Engineering," and "6B05107 - Microbiology" at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at 91传媒 KazNU. The institute is one of the leading research and consulting centers in Kazakhstan in the fields of molecular biology, molecular genetics, molecular medicine, and bioengineering. During the tour, participants learned about current research projects and modern research equipment in the laboratories of proteins and nucleic acids, structural and functional genomics, genomics, biotechnology and molecular genetics, molecular immunology and immunobiotechnology, plant bioengineering, and grain biochemistry.
