2nd year students of the Department of the Far East and Japanese students studying at the Kazakh National University, went hiking to the Kok-Zhailau mountains near Almaty. For about two and a half hours, students climbed the mountains and enjoyed an amazing beauty of nature, sang songs and played fun games. Japanese students were amazed when a herd of horses passed them. The purpose of the event was to introduce Japanese students to the amazing nature of Kazakhstan.
