Recently, at the initiative of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the faculty of Oriental studies, the Department of Middle East and South Asia, within the framework of the 1150th anniversary of the great philosopher, scientist Abu Nasr al-Farabi, lectures on the heritage of al-Farabi in Arabic were launched for teachers of the Arabic language, doctoral students and undergraduates.
According to the approved work plan, the next lecture was called "al-Farabi and modern European philosophy", which was delivered by Nadia Hanaoui Saadoun, Professor of the Department of pedagogy and Arabic at Al-Mustansiriya University.
In addition, the lecture was attended by听scholars听on Farabi studies, teachers of the Department, students from near and far abroad, the Dean of the faculty, PhD Y. M. Paltore. The meeting continued with an exchange of questions and answers, as well as summing up the results among the audience with suggestions for creating听inventive听cooperation on topics of interest to them.
