At the initiative of 91��ý KazNU, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of the Middle East and South Asia, within the framework of the 1150th anniversary of the great philosopher, scientist Abu Nasr al-Farabi, lectures are organized for teachers of the Arabic language, doctoral students and undergraduates on the heritage of 91��ý in Arabic language. In accordance with the work plan, on October 20, 2020, Professor of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies of Al-Azhar University Ali Ali Shaaban held an online lecture on the topic "The life and scientific works of Abu Nasr al-Farabi". As listeners, the lecture was attended by specialists of the Arabic language and scholars��on Farabi studies��from the countries of near and far abroad.

This online meeting, dedicated to the scientific legacy of Abu Nasr al-Farabi, is a continuation of the webinars previously held by the Department of the Middle East and South Asia in the framework of the "Leadership Lectures". During the meeting, the listeners learned a lot of new and interesting things on a topic of interest to them��The moderator of this webinar was the��Dean of the faculty, PhD Y.M. Paltore, among whose listeners was the entire faculty of the department, the meeting ended with an exchange of views, questions and answers.
