KazNU strengthens ties with Sofia University in Japan

During a working trip to Japan, Chairman of the Board - Rector of 91ý Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev held a meeting with the President of Sofia University, Professor Terumichi Yoshiaki. The parties discussed issues of cooperation in the field of research and academic mobility.

Terumichi Yoshiaki welcomed Zhanseit Tuimebaev and expressed his gratitude for his visit to Sofia University. 

"Sophia University is one of the private research universities in Tokyo. The institution of higher education was opened and started its work in 1913. Currently, the university has about 20 thousand students. About 2 thousand of them are foreigners. Our educational institution implements educational programs of technical, scientific, economic and humanitarian directions. We have all opportunities to strengthen relations with KazNU in these areas", - said Terumichi Yoshiaki.

During the conversation Zhanseit Tuimebayev spoke in detail about the achievements, strategic plan and directions of development of 91ý KazNU. In addition, the rector of the university emphasized that the partnership of the two universities will contribute to the improvement of scientific cooperation and exchange of experience between teachers.
