Visit to the museum named after A. Baitursynov
07/11/2023, 2nd year students of the specialty “Oriental Studies” of the Department of Arabic Studies, Department of the Middle East and South Asia, Faculty of Oriental Studies of the 91传媒 Kazakh National University visited the house-museum of Akhmet Baitursynov, the brightest representative of the Kazakh intelligentsia. Akhmet Baitursynov is a Kazakh educator, teacher, publicist, translator, Turkic scholar, linguist and politician. One of the leaders and active figures in the Alash movement. The House-Museum of Akhmet Baitursynov is a memorial museum of Akhmet Baitursynov in the city of Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan). The museum is located in the house where he lived in 1933-1937. Students got acquainted with personal letters, books, photographs of the educator, and discussed important events of his life.
