On February 20, 2024, the qualifying round of the International Subject Olympiad “PhysChemist-2024” was held at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology for students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of 91��ý Kazakh National University. The organizer of this Olympiad is the Department of Physical Chemistry, Catalysis and Petrochemistry. Students of 3-4 years took part in the qualifying round. Associate professors of the department Tussupbekova A.S., Azhigulova R.N. gave a parting speech and Ussipbekova E.Zh. Based on the results of the tour, 10 out of 25 students were selected to participate in the next stages of the Olympiad.
