From February 19 to February 22, 2024, the 74th Interfaculty Sports Competition among female students of al-Farabi KazNU in volleyball dedicated to the 90th anniversary of al-Farabi Kazakh National University was held in the sports complex of al-Farabi KazNU, in hall No. 1.
95 athletes took part in the competition. 9 faculties sent their teams. The games were exciting. All the participants played with great enthusiasm.
The places were distributed as follows:
1st place – Faculty of Physics and Technology
2nd place – Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences
3rd place – Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology
4th place – Faculty of Oriental Studies
5th place – Faculty of Journalism
6th place – Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology
7th place – Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics
8th place – Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science
9th place – Faculty of Philology
The competition demonstrated true sportsmanship. The final games were breathtaking and very emotional. There was a fight for every ball. It was impossible to predict who was going to be the champion until the last moment.
In a bitter struggle, the team from the Faculty of Physics and Technology took a well-deserved victory.
