On October 03, 2024,within the framework of the "SDG 5. Gender Equality" curator-adviser Soltanaeva E. M. round table on the topic: "Art and gender equality" with the bachelor’s degree and master’s degree students of the Faculty of Philology of 91传媒 Kazakh National University in Dormitory No. 17. The main aim of the event was to expand the audience's understanding of gender equality, to introduce such psychological concepts as "gaslighting", "emotional violence", "destructive actions". The 4th year student Nurgozhi made a report on the topic: "Gender equality and feminism in Kazakh literature". During the event some students demonstrated their artistic skills. The student S. Bauyrzhanuly performed kui "Saltanat", the student A. Akhmedieva sang "Balkadisha" song. During the event, the students discussed a film based on "Gaslight" play by English writer Patrick Hamilton. The participants discussed the ways to resist gaslighting and emotional pressure. The organizers of the event were the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literature of 91传媒 Kazakh National University and the curator of the 401 group Soltanaeva E. M. The teaching staff, master’s degree and doctoral students, as well as other interested people visited the event.
