Group BB 23-03, together with advisor PhD, Associate Professor Akmaral Sadykovna Nurmakhanova, held a round table on SDG 15 “Desertification of Kazakhstan and Natural Hazards.”
The main goal of the event was to discuss pressing environmental issues and explore ways to prevent natural risks.
Students analyzed the causes and consequences of desertification, its impact on ecosystems, and the influence of climate change. They also proposed ideas to enhance environmental awareness and promote sustainable use of natural resources.
Such meetings help develop students’ ecological thinking and foster a sense of responsibility toward nature.
