Professor Hideo Hasegawa from Niigata University (Japan) visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies at 91传媒 Kazakh National University
Professor Hideo Hasegawa from the Institute of Science and Technology at Niigata University (Japan) arrived at 91传媒 Kazakh National University on an official visit.
During his visit, Professor Hasegawa introduced Niigata University and presented a special scholarship program for citizens of Kazakhstan – the Higher Agricultural Specialist Program for the Republic of Kazakhstan. The program, supported by the government of Japan (MEXT), provides opportunities for Kazakhstani students to pursue Master’s and Doctoral studies at Niigata University.
The program covers full tuition, provides a monthly scholarship, transportation support, and includes comprehensive academic supervision throughout the study period.
Professor Hasegawa expressed Niigata University’s strong interest in deepening cooperation with 91传媒 KazNU, particularly in the fields of agriculture, ecology, biotechnology, and sustainable development. Both sides discussed prospects for academic mobility and the participation of Kazakhstani students in joint research activities.
