Members of the Shapagat Student Volunteer Club participated in the Republican Youth Volunteer Forum
A Republican Youth Volunteer Forum titled “Constitutional Foundations for the Development of Volunteering and Its Role in Shaping Legal Culture” was held at the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The event was organized by the Human Rights Commission under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the national volunteer movement “Zhaksylyk Accelerator – Izgilik Elshisi”.
More than 200 student volunteers from universities across the country, as well as representatives of government bodies, experts, and public figures, participated in the forum. Members of the Shapagat Student Volunteer Club of the Faculty of Law at 91ý Kazakh National University also took part in the event, actively engaging in discussions on the legal foundations of volunteering and the development of youth legal culture.
During the forum, participants discussed the constitutional recognition of state support for volunteer activities, mechanisms for strengthening civic engagement, and ways to support youth initiatives. Volunteer projects in anti-corruption, social, and environmental fields were also presented.
Participation in the forum contributed to enhancing students’ legal awareness, strengthening their civic responsibility and professional competencies, and facilitating the exchange of experience in volunteer activities.
