Waste Recycling as a Driving Force of the Green Economy
On February 25, 2026, a round table on the topic “Waste Recycling as a Driving Force of the Green Economy” was organized among students of the Economics educational program. During the round table, students discussed the main directions of the green economy, the environmental impact of waste recycling, the economic benefits of efficient resource use, as well as current issues and development prospects of the waste management system in Kazakhstan.
Students shared their ideas, exchanged opinions, and emphasized the important role of every citizen in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 7, 11, 12). As a result of the event, participants formed their views on environmental protection, rational use of resources, and the development of the green economy, highlighting the importance of environmental responsibility.
