Round Table on «How Will My Life Change if the Climate Changes?»
A round table on the topic «How Will My Life Change if the Climate Changes?» was organized among students of the Economics educational program. During the round table, activities were carried out to increase students’ awareness of climate change issues, explain its economic, social, and environmental consequences, and promote the principles of sustainable development. Students discussed the causes and consequences of climate change, its impact on the economy, quality of life, and future professions, the importance of efficient use of natural resources, and the significance of sustainable development under climate change conditions (SDGs 6, 13, 14, 15).
Participants shared their opinions and emphasized that climate change is an important global issue that directly affects the life of every individual. It was also highlighted that environmental protection and the development of environmental responsibility are the foundation of a sustainable future. The event contributed to raising students’ environmental awareness and shaping their understanding of climate change adaptation and mitigation measures.
Responsible attitude toward the climate is an important step toward a sustainable future!
