Roundtable on the topic "SMART NATIONS: Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Economy"
On February 27, 2026, the Department of Economics held an international roundtable on the topic "SMART NATIONS: Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Economy". During the meeting, the impact of the current digital transformation on economic growth and the introduction of smart technologies into public administration were widely discussed.
Special graduate student speakers from Astana, Turkey, and the United Kingdom joined the roundtable via the Zoom platform and presented their research on global trends in artificial intelligence and directions for the development of the digital economy. In addition, the participants were shown a video developed using artificial intelligence, which demonstrated the capabilities of modern technologies in practice. The participants of the event freely exchanged opinions and discussed their questions on the topic.
