On March 6, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology organized a webinar titled “Redesigning Educational and Methodological Materials for Meteorology and Hydrology Programs Using GenAI Tools.”

 The webinar was conducted by Professor Svetlana Evgenyevna Polyakova. During the event, participants were introduced to approaches for updating and redesigning the key components of educational and methodological materials with the help of artificial intelligence, including syllabi, lecture materials, laboratory and seminar classes, independent study assignments, as well as final examination programs. 

 In addition, detailed information was provided on creating gem-bots using GenAI tools, writing effective prompts, preparing lecture presentations, and using specialized platforms for developing educational materials.

At the end of the webinar, instructors asked questions and exchanged opinions. Participants were also introduced to recommendations and guidelines for preparing educational and methodological materials using artificial intelligence tools for the upcoming academic year.

 Such events contribute to the integration of modern digital technologies into the educational process and help improve the quality of academic programs.
