Students Informed About Upcoming Constitutional Changes
Third-year students of the “Meteorology” program received explanations regarding the upcoming changes to the Constitution. They were provided with brief information about the forthcoming referendum, the main goals of the new Constitution, and the key amendments planned.
A referendum is a direct vote by citizens on important state matters. In Kazakhstan, a national referendum is scheduled to take place soon, where citizens will have the opportunity to vote on whether to adopt or reject the new Constitution. The main goals of the new Constitution include:
updating the system of government;
changing the structure of the Parliament;
strengthening human rights;
reforming the political system;
enhancing environmental, digital, and social rights.
