Campaign “Taza Kazakhstan: Environmental Protection and the Formation of Ecological Culture through Legislative Instruments”

On March 12, 2026, the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law organized and held an environmental campaign entitled “Taza Kazakhstan: Environmental Protection and the Formation of Ecological Culture through Legislative Instruments.” The main purpose of the event was to increase students’ legal awareness in the field of environmental protection, promote the development of ecological culture, and encourage responsible attitudes toward nature conservation witih framework SGD -15.

The event was conducted by G.A. Kuanaliyeva, Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, together with the department lecturers A.A. Yessekeyeva and G.K. Rasheva.

During the campaign, participants were introduced to the main directions of the environmental legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The priorities of state policy in the field of environmental protection, issues of rational use of natural resources, and the prevention of environmental offenses were also discussed.

The event was organized in an interactive format, allowing participants to exchange views on environmental legal regulation, environmental protection legislation, and the rights and responsibilities of citizens in the field of environmental protection. The lecturers provided detailed explanations in response to students’ questions.
