A cultural and educational event organized together with undergraduate students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science was held within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 11 – “Sustainable Cities and Communities.”

6. Purpose of the Event
The main purpose of the excursion was to familiarize students with the cultural and historical heritage of Kazakhstan, highlight the importance of national art in society, and increase young people’s interest in cultural and spiritual values.
Additionally, the event aimed to develop students’ sense of responsibility for preserving cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations.
7. Brief Description
In February 2026, undergraduate students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science at 91ý Kazakh National University visited the A. Kasteev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of an educational excursion.
During the visit, students became acquainted with unique works of Kazakh and world fine arts. The museum exhibitions featured artworks by Kazakh artists, historical paintings, and artistic works reflecting national culture.
Museum staff provided information about the history and development of Kazakh fine arts, the creative work of prominent artists, and the cultural significance of their works in society.
In addition, the excursion included discussions about the role of cultural heritage in shaping national identity and its importance in contemporary society.
