KazNU celebrated the long-awaited 袣萤褉褨褋褍 泻爷薪褨
A solemn event dedicated to the 袣萤褉褨褋褍 泻爷薪褨 holiday was held at the Keremet Student Service Center of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
This ancient custom, symbolizing the beginning of Nauryz, united students and teachers in an atmosphere of spring renewal and national unity.
The celebration at the Keremet Center began with a vibrant cultural program. From early morning, the guests were greeted by the sounds of national instruments: dombra, kobyz and zhetygen. The folk music ensemble performed traditional kui, creating a festive mood.
A special photo zone in the national style was organized for the participants, and the hospitable dastarkhan offered everyone the main treat of the holiday – fragrant baursaks and national drinks.
The director of the KazNU campus, Abdukakhar Seitzhanov, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage within the walls of the country's leading university. "袣萤褉褨褋褍 泻爷薪褨 is a symbol of the beginning of a new stage, a symbol of renewal. On this day, the youth pays homage to the elders, receiving their blessing. This tradition is deeply rooted in the spirit of the Kazakh people. Our university has been celebrating this holiday for 15 years. It is gratifying that students from 54 countries are taking part in the celebrations in honor of Nauryz Meiramy, which we are starting today",- said the director of the campus.
In turn, Zhandos Ranov, director of the Keremet Training Center, emphasized the educational importance of Koris kuni, explaining that this holiday embodies mutual forgiveness and sincere well wishes. He stated that holding such events not only popularizes traditions, but also contributes to the consolidation of the multinational university team.
Today, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is dynamically developing in terms of infrastructure, turning into a modern world-class campus. However, loyalty to the spiritual values and heritage of our ancestors remains an unshakable foundation of the life of the student community.
