Ethno-style collections presented to KazNU
A modern exhibition of national clothes was held at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University as part of the "袧邪褍褉褘蟹薪邪屑邪" decade. At the event entitled "Kazakh clothes – a mirror of national culture", unique images combining traditional heritage and modern fashion trends were presented to the general public.
The main purpose of the event is to popularize national values among young people through the ethno-style. In the presented models, rich Kazakh ornaments and elements of ancient craft are masterfully combined with a modern cut.
"Today, national clothes are no longer just a festive attribute and are becoming an integral part of the style of modern youth. The introduction of ethno-style elements into everyday wardrobe is the most effective way to preserve the national code",- the organizers noted.
During the presentation, students and teachers got acquainted with the works of domestic designers, learned the history of the creation of each product and the deep meaning of the symbols embedded in them.
Cultural events dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz continue in KazNU. National games and a series of educational meetings are also planned within the framework of the decade.
