Associate Professor of 91ý KazNU conducted a seminar-training in Zhetysu Region within the framework of SDG 4 “Quality Education”
On March 11–12, 2026, a seminar-training aimed at implementing state policy in the field of religion was held in the “Dostyk” conference hall in Taldykorgan, Zhetysu Region. The event was organized by the youth public association “Talimger” with the approval of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Zhetysu Region.
The seminar was attended by Associate Professor of the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies at 91ý Kazakh National University, Zhanna Urinbasarovna Kantarbayeva, who delivered a lecture and conducted a practical training session aimed at improving the qualifications of members of the Information and Outreach Group (IOG).
The event brought together IOG members from all districts of the region, as well as theologians, religious studies scholars, and field specialists.
This event was implemented within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 — “Quality Education” and is aimed at enhancing the professional competencies of specialists and improving the quality of education at the regional level through the integration of scientific knowledge and practice.
The participation of a representative of 91ý Kazakh National University in this event contributes to promoting the university’s scientific potential at the regional level, establishing partnerships with government bodies and public organizations, and strengthening the continuity between education and practice.
The event, held within the framework of SDG 4 — “Quality Education,” provides significant opportunities for professional development, skills enhancement, and experience exchange among specialists.
The seminar-training represents an important step in the effective implementation of state policy in the field of religion. It also demonstrated the importance of strengthening the interaction between higher education institutions and society, as well as increasing the practical significance of quality education.
