On March 17, 2026, the Faculty of   Geography and Environmental Sciences hosted the environmental event "Moldir Bulaq," organized by the UNESCO Chair in Sustainable Development. The event was organized by first-year students of the "Life Safety and Environmental Protection" program.

The main goal of the event was to foster environmental awareness among students and increase environmental responsibility within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 6 – "Water and Sanitation." To this end, students and participants were presented with various initiatives aimed at protecting the environment.

During the event, the audience was treated to an informative presentation on ecology and water resource protection. Students presented interesting reports and research on the importance of environmental protection and ways to improve water quality.

Additionally, an important part of the event was cleaning the ditches on the university grounds. As part of this environmental event, students completed specific tasks and contributed to ensuring clean water on university campuses.

The organizer, A.T. Isanbekova, emphasized the environmental importance of the event and encouraged young people to actively participate in environmental conservation. This initiative allowed participants to gain valuable experience in protecting water resources and creating a green future.

At the end of the "Moldir Bulak" event, participants discussed environmental issues and recognized the need to be environmentally responsible and aware.
