Guest Lecture within the Framework of Inter-University Cooperation Development
Within the framework of strengthening and expanding academic cooperation between universities, a guest lecture was delivered by Mutalieva L.M., Candidate of Economic Sciences and Professor, Head of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
The lecture was organized online for undergraduate students of the educational program “6B11101 – Tourism” of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism at 91传媒 Kazakh National University. It should be noted that hosting guest lectures is a well-established and regular practice of the department, serving as an effective tool for integrating the educational process with the external academic and professional environment.
Students demonstrated strong interest in the topic, actively participated in discussions, and asked questions, contributing to a meaningful academic dialogue.
The lecture covered actual issues of tourism development in the Republic of Kazakhstan, including modern approaches to sustainable destination development, the role of ecological factors in shaping tourism potential, and the prospects for integrating sustainability principles into tourism management practices.
Such events contribute to strengthening partnerships between universities, exchanging experience and best practices, and improving the quality of training for future tourism professionals.
