Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency

A guest lecture on the topic “Prevention of Juvenile Delinquency” was organized by D.U. Baitukayeva, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of International Law, PhD, with the aim of preventing offenses among young people, enhancing their legal awareness, and fostering a sense of responsibility to society. The lecture was delivered by staff members of the Almaty Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Yesbolatov.
During the lecture, the speaker focused on the main causes of offenses, highlighting factors such as the social environment, family upbringing, ineffective time management, and the influence of the modern information space. In addition, participants received comprehensive information about the consequences of offenses, legal liability, and the types of administrative and criminal responsibility. Real-life examples were used to emphasize the importance of making responsible decisions.
The lecture was conducted in an interactive format, where students actively participated, asked questions, and engaged in open discussion with the speaker. This contributed to a deeper understanding of the topic and increased participant engagement.
Such events not only help to develop the legal culture of young people but also contribute to shaping them into responsible and conscientious citizens.
