March 20 – Around 30 international students from the Faculty of Geography and Natural Resources participated in a university-wide event to celebrate National Sports Day, where they learned about the national games and traditional sports of the Kazakh people. During the event, the participants witnessed firsthand the unique features of national culture and actively participated in sports competitions. In particular, they gained an understanding of national games such as tug-of-war, togyzkumalak, and hand wrestling, and spent time in an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation.
