KazNU photographer took part in the republican exhibition
Photographer of al-Farabi Kazakh National University Marat Zhunisbekov took part in the republican ethnographic exhibition "Wonders of the Great Steppe" and was highly appreciated.
A significant event held in Almaty on the eve of the Nauryz holiday brought together 31 of the country's best professional photographers. Marat (Marabey) Zhunisbekov, a photojournalist and videographer at KazNU, presented his work at an exhibition dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Independence and the 200th anniversary of the art of photography.

Residents and guests of the city enjoyed the photographers' work for three days. Among the more than 100 works presented at the exhibition, the photographs of a university employee named "Бейбітшілікті сүйетін бойжеткен" and "Жайлау Каркара" stood out. These works, masterfully combining national flavor and the beauty of nature, attracted the attention of the public and were highly appreciated by both viewers and professionals.

Following the event, the head of the Department of Culture of Almaty, Daniyar Aliyev, presented Marat Zhunisbekov, a member of the NGO Фотоөнер, with a special certificate for his contribution to the development of the national photographic art. It noted the professionalism of the university employee and his work in the field of promoting national values.

The large-scale event was held with the support of the Department of Culture of Almaty and the assistance of the organization "Association of Museums of Almaty", the Republican Public Association "Фотоөнер" and the company "Alem Innovation".
