"Revival of Traditional Crafts" within the framework of SDG 17
A curatorial hour titled “Revival of Traditional Crafts” was held with third-year students of the Ethnology and Anthropology educational program within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly the goal of Responsible Consumption and Production.
During the event, the importance of traditional crafts in preserving cultural heritage and the development and promotion of national art in modern society were discussed. Students exchanged ideas about various types of traditional Kazakh crafts, their historical and cultural significance, as well as issues related to responsible production and consumption of handicraft products.
Special attention was given to the importance of preserving traditional crafts and passing them on to future generations. The event aimed to increase students’ interest in national cultural heritage and promote a culture of responsible consumption.
