International Scientific and Practical Conference
On March 13, 2026, the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, in cooperation with the Center for a Healthy Lifestyle, organized and held the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Physical Culture, Sport and Health: Scientific Research and Educational Practices.”
The conference became an important platform for the exchange of scientific and pedagogical experience in the field of physical culture, sports, and the promotion of health culture within higher education. The event brought together university professors, researchers, master’s and doctoral students from Lithuania, Japan, China, Pakistan, Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. The wide geographical representation of participants highlighted the relevance of the discussed topics and the strong interest of the international academic community in the development of physical education and sports education.
During the plenary and sectional sessions, participants discussed current trends in the training of specialists in physical culture and sports, the implementation of innovative educational technologies, the digitalization of the educational process, and the organization of scientific research in the field of health and physical activity of youth. Special attention was paid to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among students, the development of mass and student sports, and the integration of scientific research into educational practice.
The participants emphasized the importance of strengthening international cooperation, implementing joint research projects, and expanding academic mobility for students and faculty members. As a result of the conference, recommendations were developed to improve educational programs and enhance the quality of professional training in the field of physical culture and sports.
