A STEP TOWARD THE GLOBAL LEVEL: NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS
On April 1, 2026, an important meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkey in Almaty, marking a significant step in strengthening international academic cooperation. The event was attended by the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty, Tuğba Özdenfedakar, as well as the Education Attaché Şükür Kose, who emphasized the importance of enhancing educational ties between the two countries.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of 91ý Kazakh National University, including the Head of the Department of Turkology and History of Eastern Countries A. Khalel, faculty members Dulaeva E., Nazarova A., Savash Shahin, and students.
The main objective of the meeting was to enhance cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey in the fields of education, science, and professional training. Discussions focused on expanding international internship opportunities for students, developing their professional competencies, and increasing their competitiveness in the global labor market.
One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the establishment of cooperation with leading international companies through the initiative of the Turkish Embassy. In particular, internship opportunities were discussed with organizations such as RAMS, TAV Holding, and Almaty International Airport. These agreements provide students with valuable hands-on experience in real professional environments.

During the meeting, students received comprehensive information about the Turkish education system, internship programs, and career opportunities. Testimonials from students who had already completed internships served as a strong source of motivation.

This meeting contributes to strengthening the university’s international reputation and improving the quality of education. Such initiatives broaden students’ perspectives and help shape globally competitive professionals.
