鈥淢endeley Platform as a Reliable Tool for Scientific Research鈥�
A scientific seminar titled “Mendeley Platform as a Reliable Tool for Scientific Research” was held at the Faculty of Pre-University Education, Department of Pre-University Training.
The aim of the seminar was to introduce modern digital tools for efficient management of scientific literature, automation of referencing processes, and improvement of academic writing quality.
During the seminar, key challenges in working with scientific sources were discussed, including difficulties in citation formatting, managing large volumes of literature, and synchronizing data across multiple devices. The Mendeley platform was presented as an effective solution to these issues.
Participants were introduced to the main features of the software, such as creating a personal library, importing PDF files, automatic extraction of metadata, integration with Microsoft Word, and automatic generation of citations and bibliographies.
Special attention was given to practical applications, enabling participants to develop skills in organizing and managing scientific information effectively. A comparative overview of Mendeley with other reference management tools was also provided.
The seminar contributes to the development of research culture, enhancement of academic writing standards, and wider integration of digital technologies into the educational process.
