PARTNERSHIP IN PROTECTING CHILD RIGHTS
On April 3, 2026, an open meeting titled “Partnership in Protecting Child Rights: Unity and Care” was held at the I.A. Krylov City Children’s Library. The event was attended by teachers of the Faculty of Law of 91ý Kazakh National University as well as school students.
The main goal of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation between the state and society in protecting child rights, as well as to improve digital literacy and knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence.
The event was opened with a welcoming speech by Guldanа Amangeldiyevna Kuanaliyeva, Doctor of Law and Head of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law.
The guest of honor was an actor who played the leading role in the film “Akhmet. Ultt Ustazy,” portraying the prominent Kazakh educator, scholar, poet, and public figure Ахмет Байтұрсынұлы — Baygali Makulbekuly Yesenaliyev, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the “Daryn” State Youth Award, and recipient of the “Parasat” Order. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of raising children and nurturing the nation.
During the event, senior lecturer Ainash Akimsalovna Yessekeyeva presented a report on the key principles of child rights protection and the national legal framework within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 17. Acting Professor Bakytzhan Kalymbek spoke about the role of digital literacy and artificial intelligence in modern legal practice.
Additionally, faculty members G.T. Aigarinova, K.M. Kozhabek, G.K. Rasheva, M. Kurmanzhan and I.B. Shapkatova introduced innovative approaches to protecting child rights using artificial intelligence.
The meeting continued in an open discussion format, where participants shared their opinions and received answers to their questions. At the end of the event, recommendations were made and ways to further develop partnerships were discussed.
