The Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science at 91ý Kazakh National University is pleased to announce that on April 6, 2026, at 15:00, a scientific seminar will be held by Musa Kundyz Musakyzy, a 3rd-year PhD student of the Kazakh division of the 8D03107 Psychology program. The seminar will take place in auditorium 123.

The PhD research focuses on “Psychological Features of Social Development in Sibling Relationships in Families of Different Types.” The study addresses relevant issues in family structures in contemporary society, the interactions between children, the impact of these relationships on personal and social development, and psychological aspects of sibling dynamics.

During the seminar, Musakyzy will present the theoretical foundations of the research, methodological approaches, results of the empirical study, and the scientific and practical significance of the findings. Special attention will be given to the characteristics of interactions among children in families of different types, as well as factors affecting their emotional, behavioral, and social development. The results of this research can be applied in family psychology, pedagogy, social work, and child psychology.

The Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science invites all interested faculty members, young scientists, PhD students, master’s students, and anyone with an interest in psychology to attend this extended scientific seminar. The seminar will be held in an open format, allowing each participant to share opinions, ask questions, and provide valuable suggestions.

This event is aimed at fostering a culture of scientific exchange, supporting the professional growth of young researchers, and enhancing the quality of PhD-level research. The seminar is expected to provide a platform for productive discussions, substantive scientific debates, and the emergence of new ideas.

Additionally, the seminar will cover contemporary approaches to studying sibling relationships, key directions in domestic and international research, and the impact of the family’s psychological climate on child development. Participants will discuss how changes in family types, urbanization, socio-economic factors, and digital environments influence children’s communication. This topic is highly relevant for modern Kazakhstan, as changes in family structures and new forms of child interaction make this research important for psychologists and educators.

The scientific seminar not only serves as a platform for young researchers to exchange experience but also represents an important step in the development of applied psychological research. Attendees will have the opportunity to expand their professional knowledge and scientific perspective. A discussion session will be held at the end of the seminar, during which participants can provide theoretical and practical recommendations to the PhD student, contributing to the improvement of the research quality and refinement of results.

The seminar provides young researchers with the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, develop professional potential, and explore additional directions for scientific work. It also creates favorable conditions for expanding scientific contacts and collaboration. We look forward to your active participation.

Everyone is warmly invited to attend this scientific seminar on April 6 at 15:00!
