A scientific and educational lecture on topical issues of our time was organized at the 91ý Kazakh National University at the Department of Religious Studies and Cultural Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science. This lecture was aimed at a scientific analysis of the phenomena of radicalization, extremism and terrorism, as well as ways to develop interfaith dialogue. In the context of modern globalization, the relevance of these problems is increasing, and the need for their comprehensive and interdisciplinary study is becoming more and more obvious.
The organizer of the event is Professor of the Bishmanov department Kakimzhan Muratzhanovich. This lecture, organized on his initiative, became an important platform for representatives of the academic community, allowing them to exchange experiences, conduct scientific discussions and share new ideas. Such events positively contribute to increasing the scientific potential of the university and the professional development of young researchers.
One of the important factors that enriched the content of the lecture was the participation of reputable foreign scientists from the Republic of Uzbekistan. In particular, Professor of Bukhara State Medical Institute, Doctor of Philosophy Shadmanov Kurban Badriddinovich; Dean of Bukhara State University, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Namozov Bobur Bakhrievich; as well as Head of the Department of Bukhara Engineering and Technical Institute, Doctor of Philosophy Zoirov Yerkin Khalilovich presented their reports. Their scientific views and experience deepened the content of the lecture and contributed to the formation of scientific dialogue at the international level.
During the lecture, modern approaches to countering radicalization were comprehensively reviewed. The causes of the spread of destructive ideologies among young people, ways to prevent them, and the impact of socio-psychological factors in society were particularly widely discussed. In addition, the experience of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of deradicalization was relatively differentiated, special attention was paid to effective methods and practical mechanisms. The importance of the deradicalization process was emphasized in the lecture. This area includes a system of comprehensive measures aimed not only at combating the consequences of the threat, but also at preventing it. Deradicalization was considered as the most important means of maintaining stability in society, strengthening social harmony and ensuring the safety of citizens. It also allows people who have fallen under the influence of radical ideologies to readapt into society, change their worldview and integrate into a constructive social environment. In this context, it was noted that the main role is played by educational, awareness-raising and psychological support.
The speakers emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation, emphasizing that interaction between government agencies, academic institutions, and religious organizations plays a key role in preventing radicalization. One of the main topics of the lecture was the formation of a culture of interfaith dialogue, strengthening mutual respect and tolerance.
The event was actively attended by doctoral and undergraduate students of the university, who took part in scientific discussions. This allowed them to improve their research skills, determine their professional orientation, and gain a deeper understanding of current scientific issues. During the event, a number of questions were asked by the participants, and a meaningful discussion was held in the format of an open exchange of views. Doctoral and undergraduates raised topical issues related to their scientific research and received valuable recommendations based on the experience of foreign scientists. This, in turn, contributed to increasing the scientific potential of young researchers.
In general, this lecture was assessed as an effective model for strengthening international scientific cooperation, sharing experiences and discussing topical social issues together. In addition, this event once again confirmed the reputation of 91ý Kazakh National University as one of the leading scientific and educational centers in the Central Asian region.
