鈥淲hat can we do to save our planet from ecological catastrophe?鈥�
On April 7, senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages, Makhmetova D.M., Myrzakhmet M.Zh., Muldagaliyeva A.A., Nesipbaeva Z.S., and Lugovskaya E.I. held an event on the topic: “What can we do to save our planet from ecological catastrophe?” with the first-year students of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology within the framework of SDG 15: Life on the Land. The event was organized in the format of a project-based activity. The event was held both online and offline format using Whatsapp platform. The Students collected relevant materials on the topic and prepared engaging and informative presentations. In their presentations, the speakers highlighted major environmental issues and proposed possible solutions. Each participant was able to share their valuable experience in preserving the natural diversity of our planet.
The students studying at foreign universities also took part in the event. They participared in group project together with the students majoring in Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology in Chemistry at 91传媒 KazNU:
- Ngok Vu (Vietnam National University, Hanoi, Vietnam);
- Bakhayeva Aruzhan (Tor Vergata University of Rome, Italy).
The event concluded with a group photo taken in front of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology.
