An online course on transport systems has been launched
A new massive open online course "Unified Transport System" has been launched on the Open KazNU platform, developed in Kazakh for a comprehensive study of modern transport processes.
During the training, students master the interrelationship of various modes of transport, the basics of logistics and infrastructure, as well as methods for evaluating transportation efficiency. The program is designed for students of technical and logistics fields, as well as specialists in the transport sector.
The authors of the course are the Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting of the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Professor Rysta Sartova and Associate Professor of Transport Engineering and Logistics at the Faculty of Engineering of Toraigyrov University, PhD Ansagan Suleimenov.

The main purpose of the course is to consider the transport system as a single complex and systematically analyze its structure and functioning mechanisms. Students acquire skills in assessing key indicators of the transport system, organizing freight and passenger transportation, optimizing logistics processes, and analyzing the effectiveness of transport infrastructure.
The course consists of eight modules covering all major areas of the transport system. After completing the training, participants will be able to analyze the operation of the transport system, apply modern logistics methods and make decisions on the development and improvement of infrastructure. To obtain a certificate, you must score at least 70% on all assignments and assessment elements of the course.
This joint educational project is aimed at improving the quality of higher education and developing modern education in the field of transport and logistics.
