SDG 4. Clean Environment – Comfortable Life
7 April 2026
A student dormitory is a unique space where young people live together, receive education, and develop as individuals. In such an environment, maintaining cleanliness is the responsibility of every resident and a reflection of personal culture.
Within the framework of the “Clean Kazakhstan” project, an event titled “Clean Environment – Comfortable Room” was organized among the residents of the dormitory from the pre-university training department of the Faculty of Pre-University Education. The event was held as a competition under the theme “Your Room – Your World,” aimed at identifying the cleanest and most well-decorated rooms.
A clean room reflects a person’s inner culture and neatness. Order, brightness, and cleanliness positively influence both study and rest. In such an environment, a person feels comfortable, thoughts become organized, and productivity increases.
During the competition, participants paid attention not only to cleanliness but also to interior aesthetics, harmonious arrangement of items, and creative elements. Some rooms stood out by incorporating national-style decorations, reading corners, and small indoor plants, creating a unique atmosphere.
It was encouraging to see that students sharing rooms worked together and strived to achieve common results.
According to the results of the competition:
• 1st place – Room 304-A
• 2nd place – Room 323-2A
• 3rd place – Rooms 323-B and 328-2B
This competition was not only a contest but also an important educational initiative that fosters discipline, neatness, and a sense of responsibility among students.
In conclusion, cleanliness is not only a guarantee of health but also the foundation of a successful life. If every student takes responsibility for maintaining their room and creates a comfortable environment, the dormitory will truly become a center of education and personal development. Therefore, the motto “Clean Environment – Comfortable Life” should become a guiding principle for every young person.
