On April 7, 2026, an informational event was held for students of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management of 91ý Kazakh National University under the “Law and Order” principle on the topic “Building a culture of zero tolerance towards offenses: meeting with police representatives.”

The event was attended by representatives of the Almaty City Police Department, the Bostandyk District Police Department, and the Cybercrime Prevention Unit.

During the meeting, students were provided with information on the prevention of offenses, including the most common types of internet and cybercrime, public order regulations, and safety measures within the framework of the “Pedestrian” preventive campaign.

Police officers also presented real-life cases, explained administrative and criminal liability, and emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of zero tolerance towards offenses in society.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions and received comprehensive answers on personal safety, data protection, online security, and legal responsibility.

At the end of the event, students approached the police officers with individual questions and received prompt feedback along with practical recommendations.

The event aimed to enhance students’ legal awareness, promote a culture of intolerance to offenses, and develop safe behavior skills.
