"Farabi alemi" international conference started at the Faculty of Oriental Studies
On April 8, the traditional "Farabi alemi" International Scientific-Practical Conference for students and young scholars solemnly commenced at the Faculty of Oriental Studies. The theme of this year's conference is: "The Historical Heritage of Oriental Civilization and its Spiritual Continuity with Kazakhstan."
The opening ceremony featured a welcoming speech by the Dean of the faculty, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor M. Egamberdiev. In his speech, the Dean emphasized the importance of fostering young researchers' interest in science and the relevance of exploring new directions within the field of Oriental Studies. In addition, a veteran educator of the faculty, F. Zhumazhanovna, and a senior lecturer of the Department of Chinese Studies, A. Nurkalyk, wished the participants success and gave their blessings to the first scientific steps of the young scholars.

Within the framework of the conference, students and young researchers share their scientific discoveries and exchange views on topical issues. At the end of the event, the authors of the best presentations will be awarded special diplomas.
