“Inclusivity and Patriotism: Developing Unity and Tolerance”
On April 9, 2026, an educational curatorial hour on the topic “Inclusivity and Patriotism: Developing Unity and Tolerance” was held. The event was conducted by Aitzhan Balzhan Samatkyzy and Davesov Dias Maratovich. The activity was supervised and coordinated by Aitmagambetova Malika Muratovna and Rakhimova Maral Sultanbekovna.
The main purpose of the event was to explain to students the essence of the concepts of inclusivity, patriotism, and tolerance, to highlight their significance in social life, and to promote among young people the values of unity, mutual respect, civic responsibility, and social harmony.
During the curatorial hour, several relevant issues of modern society in the context of globalization were discussed, including social diversity, intercultural interaction, social inequality, discrimination, cultural misunderstanding, and polarization. In this context, it was thoroughly explained that inclusivity means providing equal opportunities to all members of society, tolerance means respect for differences, and patriotism means not only love for one’s country but also a sense of civic responsibility.
During the event, students were given a detailed explanation of the importance of building an inclusive society. It was emphasized that every person, regardless of nationality, language, social status, or worldview, is a full member of society. In addition, patriotism was considered not only as love for one’s homeland, but also as contributing to the country’s development, preserving social stability and unity, and respecting shared values. Tolerance was described as one of the main foundations of peace and mutual understanding.
After the theoretical part, the presenters, Aitzhan Balzhan Samatkyzy and Davesov Dias Maratovich, offered the students a creative task. According to the assignment, the bachelor students were divided into 3 groups, and each group prepared a poster on its specific topic.
Group 1 created a poster on “Inclusivity,” showing that every person has a place in society, no one should be excluded, and equal opportunities should be ensured for all.
Group 2 prepared a poster on “Tolerance,” reflecting the ideas of mutual respect, understanding, harmony, and peaceful coexistence.
Group 3 created a poster on “Patriotism,” presenting modern patriotism as unity, responsibility, and shared national values.
Each group presented its work, explained the main idea of the poster, the meaning of the symbols and images used, and the key message they wanted to communicate to society. This task contributed to the development of students’ creative abilities, improved their teamwork skills, and allowed them to understand the topic more deeply.
The curatorial hour, held under the supervision of Aitmagambetova Malika Muratovna and Rakhimova Maral Sultanbekovna was conducted with the active participation of the students. During the event, the participants freely expressed their opinions and exchanged ideas about the importance of unity and harmony in society.
