At the Department of Biotechnology of 91传媒 Kazakh National University, a curatorial session titled “Student Initiative as a Driver of Sustainable Development” was held under the guidance of the department’s faculty members. The event aimed to foster environmental responsibility and engage students in implementing the principles of sustainable development.
During the session, students discussed 邪泻褌褍邪谢褜薪褘械 issues related to the rational use of resources, waste reduction, and the adoption of sustainable practices in everyday life. Particular attention was given to the role of student initiatives in addressing environmental challenges at both the university and societal levels.
As part of the session, students developed their own mini-projects focused on reducing environmental impact, promoting conscious consumption, and fostering an 褝泻芯谢芯谐懈褔械褋泻懈 aware culture within the student community.
This initiative is implemented within the framework of promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 12 – “Responsible Consumption and Production” and contributes to the development of environmentally responsible behavior, project thinking, and social engagement among students.
