An analysis of the continuity of al-Farabi's legacy in the age of AI
The grand opening of the international scientific and practical conference "Al-Farabi and Global Civilization: the unity of philosophy, science and spiritual values" took place at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University as part of the V International Farabi Forum.
The large-scale event is attended by leading foreign scientists, researchers, representatives of the diplomatic corps and experts from around the world.
Traditionally, the event began with a flower-laying ceremony at the monument to the great thinker Abu Nasr al-Farabi. The guests visited the museum Al-Farabi and the University History Museum on the university campus, where they got acquainted with the chronicle of the educational institution and the unique scientific heritage of the thinker.

Speaking at the official opening of the conference, Margulan Ibraimov, Member of the Board and Vice Rector for Science and Innovation, focused on the role of al–Farabi's ideas in the development of modern science, noting that the forum has become a unique platform combining philosophy and practice.

Representatives of the diplomatic corps and international partners stressed the importance of strengthening academic ties and wished success to the work of the forum. In particular, Sona Ahmadi, Consul of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Almaty, Derekh Samir Ali, Honorary Consul of Syria in Kazakhstan, Huang Xiaoming, Attache for Education of the People's Republic of China, and Shukur Kose, Attache for Education of the Republic of Turkey in Almaty, delivered welcoming speeches. The rector of Nur-Mubarak University, Ahmed Hussein, and the rector of Bukhara International University, Sharif Borotov, also spoke about the importance of scientific integration at the international level.

The presentation of the new edition of "Al-Farabi and the Turkic Renaissance" took place during the plenary session. Professors Zhakypbek Altaev, Ashirbek Muminov and Natalia Seitakhmetova presented reports on the continuity of the thinker's legacy in the era of digitalization and artificial intelligence.

The forum continued in the format of breakout sessions and round tables, where participants discussed joint research projects and new teaching methods. Following the events, it is planned to adopt a resolution defining new areas of international cooperation.
