鈥淚n the Space of Eastern Intercultural Dialogue鈥�
On April 7, 2026, students of the Department of Turkology and Language Theory of the Faculty of Philology at 91传媒 Kazakh National University participated in the “Poetry Reading in Eastern Languages” competition held within the framework of the international Olympiad “In the Space of Eastern Intercultural Dialogue,” organized at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The participants 写芯褋褌芯泄薪芯 represented their university at a high level.
Students of the 2nd and 3rd years of the educational program “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” demonstrated a high level of language proficiency, stage culture, and expressive reading skills.
The participants included 2nd-year students Aisha Bakhalova and Ogulsapar Nurberdiyeva, as well as 3rd-year students Altynai Mubarak and Maral Kadyrkhan. They performed poetic works in Eastern languages with 胁褘褉邪蟹懈褌械谢褜薪芯褋褌褜, earning appreciation from both the audience and organizers. The students were awarded certificates of appreciation.
The main objective of the event was to promote the languages and cultures of Eastern peoples, develop expressive reading skills, enhance students’ linguistic and intercultural competencies, and strengthen international academic cooperation. During the competition, participants demonstrated linguistic accuracy, stage presence, and the ability to convey literary works with depth and emotion.
A distinctive feature of the competition was the participation of students not only from Kazakhstan but also from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and other countries, which contributed to strengthening its international status and fostering intercultural interaction.
The students of KazNU showed a high level of preparation, creativity, and respect for cultural values. Their performances were highly appreciated by both the audience and organizers.
The students were prepared by Turkish language instructor K.B. Ashirkulov and senior lecturer G.A. Kanashayeva. Thanks to the professional guidance of the instructors and the students’ dedication, the team 写芯褋褌芯泄薪芯 represented the university at the international level.
Such international Olympiads and creative competitions contribute to the comprehensive development of students, enhance their language competence, and promote interest in Eastern languages and cultures, as well as intercultural dialogue.
