At KazNU, the prospects of international education under the CILT program were discussed
A scientific and practical seminar dedicated to the prospects of studying under the international CILT program (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business. The event attracted significant interest among students of the “Logistics” educational program, master’s students, and faculty members focused on developing professional competencies in logistics and supply chain management.
The seminar aimed to familiarize participants with opportunities for international certification in logistics, as well as with the current demands of the global labor market. The speaker was Kaltaev Aidyn Kaldaiakuly, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, and General Secretary of CILT Central Asia. In his presentation, he подробно explained the structure of the program, its content, and its practical significance for future specialists.
Special attention was given to the fact that studying under the CILT program provides students with access to international standards of professional training. The program is designed to develop systems thinking, enhance analytical skills, and build the ability to make effective managerial decisions under conditions of uncertainty. In the context of the digital economy and increasingly complex global supply chains, such competencies are becoming essential for successful professional activity.
An important advantage of the program is its flexibility and the possibility of integration with the main educational process. Students can complete the CILT program in parallel with their undergraduate studies. Upon successful completion, participants receive an international CILT diploma, which serves as an additional credential alongside their higher education degree. This provides graduates with a significant competitive advantage in the labor market and expands their career opportunities at both national and international levels.
Moreover, participation in the program способствует the development of professional networks, allows students to become part of the international logistics community, and provides access to best global practices in logistics and transport. Thus, the program serves not only as an educational tool but also as a strategic resource for professional growth.
The organization of such seminars demonstrates the university’s commitment to implementing advanced educational technologies and training specialists capable of working effectively in the global economy.
The seminar was organized by the faculty of the Department of Business Technologies: Akhmetova Z.B., Turlybekova N.M., Sharapiyeva M.D., and Boltayeva A.Zh.
