On April 9, 2026, an educational event on the topic “SDG 13: Climate Action” was held at Dormitory No. 17 of the Faculty of Philology. The event was attended by students of the educational program “6B02303 – Foreign Philology (Western Languages)”.
The purpose of the event was to explain the significance of the sustainable development goals to students, to introduce the causes and consequences of climate change, and to develop a responsible attitude toward environmental protection.
During the event, an informational presentation was delivered, followed by a discussion among students. The participants discussed issues related to climate change, global warming, and environmental challenges, and shared their opinions. In addition, ways of protecting nature and promoting environmental awareness were considered.
The event was aimed at increasing students’ environmental awareness, fostering social responsibility and promoting the values of sustainable development.
The event was held under the guidance of Aitmukhanbetova Aynur Serikbaykyzy, a senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies.
