Legal Issues of the Formation of a Green Economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan
On April 9, 2026, 91ý Kazakh National University hosted the section entitled “Legal Issues of the Formation of a Green Economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan” within the framework of the International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scholars “Farabi Alemi,” organized by the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of the Faculty of Law.
For this section, the competition committee was approved by the order of the Dean of the Faculty and consisted of 6 members. The committee was chaired by Candidate of Legal Sciences, Professor G.T. Aigarinova. The committee also included PhD, Senior Lecturer G.K. Rasheva, Senior Lecturer A.A. Esekeeva, lecturers R. Bektursyn and N. Eleusizova, while Lecturer A.A. Kudaibergenov served as the secretary of the section.
A total of 34 research papers were submitted to the section “Legal Issues of the Formation of a Green Economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan,” including 14 papers selected for the conference program. The section brought together students from the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Geography of 91ý Kazakh National University, as well as participants from UIB International Business University and D.A. Kunaev University.
Following the review of the research works submitted by students, master’s students, and doctoral students, the competition committee recognized the strongest presentations. This section became an important platform for supporting the academic initiatives of young researchers and for discussing current legal issues related to environmental law and the development of a green economy.
