As part of the annual "Month of Science," 91ý Kazakh National University officially opened the International Scientific Conference for Students and Young Scientists "Farabi Alemi". This prestigious event serves as a premier venue for academic exchange, attracting brilliant young minds from across the globe to discuss history, archaeology, and archival science.

Plenary Insights: Where Tradition Meets Technology The conference commenced at the Ethnographic Museum with a high-level plenary session. The discussions highlighted the intersection of history and modern science, including the mathematical modeling of nomadic logistics in the Golden Horde , the development of AI platforms for automated archive generation , and the implementation of blockchain in the information society.

Global Academic Exchange: Highlighting International Participants

"Farabi Alemi" 2026 stood out for its remarkable international reach, featuring participants from renowned world institutions:

·       France: Georges Sollogoub from the EHESS (Advanced School for Social Sciences, Paris) provided an insightful European perspective on historical research.

·       USA: Aidan Olson from Indiana University presented unique findings on the mystical system of Hadewijch of Brabant.

·       Russia: S. Barabanskiy, a researcher from the Institute for Humanities Research and Indigenous Studies of the North (Siberian Branch of the RAS, Sakha Republic), analyzed the imagery of civil war participants. Scholars from the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU) contributed significant research on the socio-economic and cultural history of the Russian state.

Inter-University Collaboration in Kazakhstan

The conference also served as a focal point for Kazakhstan's academic community:

·       Students from Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University (ZhenPU) delivered papers on ethnographic traditions and historical identity.
