Law and order are the foundation of a safe society
At the Faculty of Law of 91ý Kazakh National University, within the framework of the activities of the Project Office “Law and Order,” a meeting was held between students and the Deputy Head for Personnel Policy of the Auezov District Police Department of the Almaty City Police Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel N.Zh. Kalykbaeva.
During the event, the main areas of activity of the internal affairs bodies were thoroughly examined, including their role in ensuring public safety, protecting citizens’ rights and freedoms, and preventing and suppressing offenses. Special attention was paid to personnel policy issues, including the procedure for joining the service, qualification requirements for candidates, and the stages of selection in the internal affairs bodies.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Kalykbaeva emphasized the importance of professional and personal qualities of future officers, such as a high level of legal culture, responsibility, discipline, and commitment to the principles of legality.
Students had the opportunity to ask questions regarding practical aspects of service in law enforcement agencies, conditions of service, and prospects for professional growth.
Such meetings contribute to strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and law enforcement agencies, as well as fostering a sustained interest in public service among students.
