"A Kind Word is the Soul's Nourishment": Student Ideas and Spiritual Growth
The Faculty of History at 91ý Kazakh National University hosted an inspiring training session titled "Жақсы сөз – жан азығы" (A Kind Word is the Soul's Nourishment). This event was initiated and conducted by the Department of World History, Historiography, and Source Studies. The training was designed to foster a positive psychological climate among students and emphasize the transformative power of communication in the academic community.
The highlight of the event was the proactive involvement of the students, who stepped forward with their own creative proposals. Instead of a traditional lecture format, the session turned into an open laboratory of ideas. Students suggested various projects, such as "Ethics of Digital Communication" and "Oral History as a Bridge Between Generations." They argued that a culture of kind words and mutual respect is essential for academic excellence and personal well-being. The faculty administration and the Department members praised the students' enthusiasm, noting that such grassroots initiatives are vital for building a modern and harmonious educational environment.
