Winners of the “Farabi Alemi” Conference Announced at the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science
This event serves as an important platform for the development of the research potential of students and young scholars, as well as for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and modern scientific approaches. Within the framework of the conference, presentations were delivered covering a wide range of relevant issues in the fields of philosophy, political science, pedagogy, sociology, social work, psychology, religious studies, and cultural studies.
During the conference, participants presented their work across nine sections, where the submitted research papers were thoroughly reviewed and discussed by experts. The competition committee evaluated the studies based on several criteria, including the relevance of the topic, scientific originality, theoretical and practical significance, the quality of the presentation, as well as compliance with established requirements. Particular attention was paid to the participants’ ability to convincingly defend the results of their research.
Following the discussion and the scoring process, the competition committee identified the best research papers. The winners of the conference were awarded diplomas.
The first place was awarded to Zhaneta Assetova, a fourth-year student majoring in Psychology. Her research focuses on the features of motivational orientation in the socio-psychological adaptation of first-year students. The scientific supervisor was Aliya Masakbaevna Boltaeva, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Assistant Professor.
The second place was awarded to Aigerim Anarbay, a fourth-year student majoring in Cultural Studies. In her research, she examined the transformation of ornaments in traditional Kazakh costume in contemporary culture. The scientific supervisor was Samal Mukhametalievna Kaupenbayeva, PhD, Acting Associate Professor.
The third place was awarded to Nesibeli Zainolda, a first-year Master’s student majoring in Philosophy. Her research is devoted to a philosophical analysis of mimetic desire and the ideology of success in the context of social comparison. The scientific supervisor was Berik Muratuly Atash, Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor.
The “Farabi Alemi” conference traditionally plays an important role in supporting young researchers, contributes to the development of scientific thinking, and stimulates the growth of the academic environment. Such events create new opportunities for professional development and scientific collaboration.
